Make Your Own Snazzy Pouch Out of Plastic Waste!
Celebrate World Ocean Day by joining the Shaw Institute and Island Meadow Arts for an outdoor Fused Soft Plastic Pouches class. Learn about plastic pollution and create art by fusing clean, single-use soft plastics (bread bags, frozen vegetable bags, produce bags, etc.) into sturdy material for sewn button pouches. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own clean plastics. Light snacks will be offered. Please dress accordingly.
Class length - 3 Hours
Day and Time- Saturday, June 7th, 9 am-12 pm
