Adults Portrait Drawing

 

In this four week adults drawing class, we will explore and learn the art of portraiture. With the use of photo references and student models participants will practice blind contour drawing, and gesture drawing, as well as contour line, value scales, crosshatch, cast and core shadows. The class will warm up with expressive drawing exercises and continue with a focused guided study of drawing portraits. Participants are encouraged to bring reference portraits to use in class.
